The second leg of our Rooster Road Trip found the crew searching high and low for birds while only utilizing Kansas’ prolific public walk-in access program (WIHA). And what they experienced was emblematic of any true public land adventure: moments of jubilation surrounded by hours of hoping, searching, and strategizing.
